Said Gafurov ist ein bekannter russischer marxistischer Intellektueller und Antiimperialist. Er vertritt die Position, dass die Volksrepubliken die proletarische Seite des ukrainischen Bürgerkriegs repräsentieren. 

Das Interview entstand am 5.3.23 in Rom am Rande eines Vorbereitungstreffens für eine europäische Friedenskonferenz, die Kräfte von beiden Seiten des Konflikts und für eine gerechtere multipolare Weltordnung zusammenbringen soll.

Said Gafurov is a renown Russian Marxist intellectual and anti-imperialist. He holds that the peoples’ republics are the proletarian side of the Ukrainian civil war.

The interview was conducted on March 5, 2023, in Rome on the margins of a preparatory meeting for a European peace conference uniting forces from both divides of the conflict striving for a more just multipolar world order.
