Evening of Solidarity with Bolivarian Venezuela in the US

Now, more than ever, the people of Venezuela and their leaders need our solidarity.

Rev. Pat Robertson's call for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Fràas is evidence that solidarity with Venezuela is urgent.

What makes Robertson's statement so dangerous is that it is a result of the hostile climate emanating from the White House. He joins a long list of Bush administration officials who are all working to lay the groundwork for U.S. intervention in Venezuela, militarily or otherwise, by distorting and defaming the reality in Venezuela.

You can help turn the tide in this country to stop U.S. aggression against Venezuela.

This fall, thousands will rally at a historic site in Manhattan—Broadway's Town Hall—to express solidarity with Venezuela.

Your support is needed NOW for this timely and decisive event. You will be lending your voice with many others who have already said yes! to this event. These supporters include: The Alberto Lovera Bolivarian Circle, Ramsey Clark, Noam Chomsky, Peter Coyote, Marcia Campos, Danny Glover, Bishop Thomas Gumbleton, U.S. Rep. Jose Serrano, Rev. Lucius Walker, Howard Zinn and many others.

Town Hall on Nov. 8 will be the first time several representatives of Venezuela's Bolivarian Movement will be in the U.S. all at one time!

Your contributions can help pay for the great expenses for this vital event. You can help to defray the costs of printing, mailings, phone calls, travel for guest speakers, rental of equipment, and much more!

A beautiful Program Journal commemorating the Evening in Solidarity with Bolivarian Venezuela will be produced. It will display political statements, solidarity messages, as well as ads by individuals and organizations. Funds raised from your ads and name listings in the Program Journal will all go to the cost of producing this event.

The Town Hall rally will be broadcast live globally by streaming video on the Internet. Your generous contribution will help make sure the mass event is viewed around the world.
