Greetings from Argentina to the Anti-imperialist Camp
12/7/2004
The "Agrupación Martin Fierro" and the protest organisation "Frente Barrial 19 de Diciembre" (Slum Front of December 19th) adhere fervently to the initiative taken by you in the city of Assisi.
Our organisations fight in Argentina against Yankee imperialism and the big economic groups which have forced our country into marginalisation and misery and which transformed it into an absolute desert.Accept our congratulations for being coherently anti-imperialist.We Argentineans know very well what repression means. Our 30,000 disappeared testify for that. Today we have some 3,500 social activists being tried by a judicial apparatus which is an accomplice of the powerful. Message of the Iranian-American Community to the Anti-imperialist CampAs we speak, the people of the world are rising up and organizing against what the Sandinista anthem so appropriately referred to as "Yankee, the enemy of humanity". Thanks to the Iraqi resistance, the US Imperialism has been stopped in its tracks. We must extend our full support to the Iraqi resistance to ensure that the US Imperialism is defeated in Iraq. We must also fully stand behind our Palestinian brothers and sisters and their struggles for "right of return" to build a free Palestine, for the struggles against US occupation and … [read more]

Colombia: persecution against peasant leaders of Arauca continues

9/7/2004
Release on bail for Luz Perly deniedIn another blatant act of violation not only of the elementary human rights but also of the disregard of the very Colombian judiciary, the prosecutor of the Anti-terrorist Branch, Moisà©s Grimaldo Arteaga, denied the appeals of Luz Perly Cà³rdoba Mosquera and Juan de Jesús Gutià©rrez Ardila to be released after 120 of detention. According to the decision of a regular court the two popular leaders should be released on bail after 120 days. Thus the anti-terrorist office of the public prosecutor, which is known to be closely linked to DAS, the Colombian Intelligence Service, repeatedly shows its disrespect of the legal framework.Luz Perly alongside with other peasant leaders has been arrested on charge of insurgency. However, her case is special. … [read more]

For a Free Democratic Palestine

Position paper of Abna elBalad
8/7/2004
There are no limits to the war crimes that the racist Zionist regime is carrying out in its more-than-a-century-long campaign to uproot the Palestinian People. In a world controlled by global US imperialism, which gives full support to all the Zionist crimes, there is no place for the Palestinians to hide.
All they can do is resist the mighty Israeli war machine with their bare hands. The popular Intifada, for which the Palestinian masses are paying the highest price in lives, suffering and destruction of their country, produced a crisis of the racist regime and its plans to stabilize and perpetuate occupation. It is high time to show a positive alternative to the endless wars and destruction dictated by Zionism, to show the way to a free democratic Palestine. The multiple aspects of Zionist racismEthnic CleansingSince the beginning of Zionist colonialism in Palestine, its main goal was to expel the original inhabitants of Palestine, the Palestinian people, in order to establish a Jewish state. In 1948, supported by world imperialism, the Zionists took the major step to achieve their goal … [read more]

by Carsten Kofoed, Danish Committee for a Free IraqThe trial against Saddam Hussein is a show trial By Carsten Kofoed, Spokesman of the Danish Committee for a Free Iraq, July 2, 2004The so-called trial against Saddam Hussein and 11 other leaders of the former regime in Iraq has started. Just like the transfer of power, this trial is also a farce from end to end, even though there is being talked about an "indictment" in order to give the show trial in which the accused have been denied access to lawyers just a bit of credibility. The sentence against Saddam Hussein has already been pronounced in Washington. Not even his detention can the "sovereign" Iraqi government handle itself. The trial is illegal because it is a result of the illegal war against Iraq that has led to an US-installed … [read more]
