„Iranians against war on Iran” to present themselves

“Iranians against the war” have constituted themselves right after the start of the US-Israeli aggression. No the present themselves publicly and ask for support.

The majority of Iranian population both inside the country and among the diaspora oppose and condemn US-Israeli bombing of their home country, regardless of their stance on the internal politics of the their home country. This is a fact that has been intentionally censored and aggressively supressed in service of the propaganda to justify war and sanctions on nearly 90 million innocent civilians.

Together we will defend our people, our nation, our sovereignty. We will not let the imperial and neo-colonial political leaders who appear prominently in the heinous Epstein files to decide on the fate of our homeland.

It was them to bring down by means of a coup the democratically elected leader Mossadegh and to install the torturer and puppet Pahlavi. It was them who imposed eight years of war on our country and armed Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction, including chemical weapons, the horrors of which still haunt our people to this day. It was again them to impose cruel and destructive decade-long sanctions on us, blocking access of the whole population to life-saving medicines,  to make us subservient and to stop our support to the dear Palestinian people.

Do not believe that the violent and loud campaign of reactionary Pahlavist monarchists represent the Iranian people at all. They are the minority supported by the right extremists and war mongers in the West and Zionism and their terror already reigns where they reach to. Our people do not want them to come back. Their racist, anti-democratic, and religiously bigoted militant movement also poses a serious threat to the host society, particularly in Austria, and must not be tolerated.

Now it is time to unite to defend Iran against foreign oppressors which is the base and precondition for the popular sovereignty, democracy and human dignity we are all longing for. We must also unite to defend our community in Austria against the authoritarian and fascistic aggression of bloodthirsty warmongers.

We call upon the Austrian movement for peace and anti-imperialism to take to the streets together in order to press Western regimes to stop their war on Iran and Palestine.
